Alistair Baillie – Chairman
Alistair Baillie has extensive international experience in the construction, commercial development and operation of ports and terminals.
He has held senior roles in the merchant navy, in ship building and management, in stevedoring, in corporate development and in winning, developing, optimising and directing an international portfolio of port businesses.
ElizaO’Toole – Vice Chairman & Company Secretary
Eliza O'Toole has 20 years' specialist experience in port structures, implementation and development, including maritime construction, procurement and management.
As a partner in London City law firms, her practice focussed on port, strategic road and rail infrastructure, environmental remediation and decommissioning, and in the delivery of major infrastructure and regeneration projects. She also has experience in local government, and is a parliamentary agent.
Mehrdad Noorani
Mehrdad Noorani is a partner of GIP and is based in London.
Previously, Mehrdad served as Managing Director and Head of Airport Finance at GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS). Prior to joining GE in 2003, Mehrdad was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking Department and a senior member of the firm’s Transportation and Logistics Group in London, which he joined in 1991 (this Group was part of the BZW business, which was acquired by Credit Suisse in 1998).
Raj Rao
Raj Rao is a Principal at GIP and is based in London
Prior to joining GIP, Raj was a Director in the Mergers and Acquisition team within the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse based in London. Raj was responsible for a number of M&A transactions in the Energy (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Water and Waste) sectors. Raj has extensive experience in complex M&A transactions including acquisition and project financing. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Raj was a member of the Project Financing team at Barclays Capital.
