CORPORATE – THE COMPANY

The port at Great Yarmouth is owned and operated by Great Yarmouth Port Company Limited (G.Y.P.C.), a subsidiary of International Port Holdings (I.P.H.).

The company took over the port in May 2007 and commenced construction of the new outer harbour in June of that year to complement the existing river facilities.

To reflect the ports much wider appear, it is now operating under the title of EastPort UK.

Prior to Great Yarmouth Port Company Limited having taken on the project of constructing and implementing development of the new Outer Harbour, there were many different proposals over the long prior history of genesis of the project.

G.Y.P.C. are delighted, having taken over the project, to be proceeding with works carefully defined to meet current conditions.

For ease of reference, these works and objectives now fully supersede all those previously considered over the years by other parties prior to the advent of EastPort UK.
