Great Yarmouth Outer Harbour Project
Due for completion in the first quarter of 2009 its introduction to EastPort UK's facilities at Great Yarmouth will create a significant expansion to the port's operating capacity.
| • Easy maritime access |
• 24 / 7, all states of the tide operation |
| • 10 metres at Chart Datum |
• Width at harbour mouth 210 metres |
| • Up to 1,000 metres of developable quayside |
• 1st phase quay construction 400 metres |
| • Adjacent warehousing and open storage |
• Heavy lift / project cargo capability |
The Outer Harbour has been designed and modelled to service the needs of a large range of vessels, including the latest generation freight ferries, ROPAX ferries, self discharges, trade car carriers and container vessels. All requiring little or no tug assistance.
Port infrastructure along with administrative support systems will be leading edge, all contributing to ensure that EastPort UK will raise the bar with regard to service and efficiency throughout the port. |
