FACILITIES – RIVER PORT

Great Yarmouth is Norfolk’s premier port with some 3,000 metres of commercial quays on both sides of the River Yare, adjoining the South Denes industrial area.

The river port currently handles a wide range of general cargo in addition to being the principal UK base for the offshore oil and gas industry in the Southern North Sea.

Facilities Include:

• 36 quays covering 3,000 metres
• Safe, sheltered berths
• Length up to 110 metres
• Beam up tp 28 metres
• Draught up to 5.7 metres
• No locks or bridges

The river port is able to offer high quality storage and grain handling facilities with grain testing equipment and weighbridges.
